BUBBLE BASH: Sunday, April 7th, 2024
The Washington Chapter of Alpha Delta Phi is excited to announce the 2024 Bubble Bash Auction, which will be held on the evening of Sunday, April 7th, 2024 at the same venue as last year—The Mountaineers Auditorium (7700 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115). After last year’s successful resurrection of the event, we have set a goal of raising $60,000 for Seattle Children's Stanley Stamm Summer Camp. Last year, we raised $57,000 thanks to gracious support from Alumni, Parents, and Friends of the Alpha Delts. We ask for your help this year in raising the bar to make an even greater impact!
If you are willing and able to contribute beyond a direct monetary donation, we need some crucial components (In-Kind donations are tax-deductible, too):
Live Auction Items (such as a weekend stay at a vacation home, a stay at a home here in Seattle, one-of-a-kind experiences, exclusive activities, and more)
Silent Auction Items (like gift baskets, tickets to sporting events, gift cards, retail items, and other must-have items for event attendees)
Beverages
Desserts
Event Supplies (programs, flowers, etc)

About Stanley Stamm Camp
Seattle Children’s Hospital hosts the Stanley Stamm Summer Camp, a weeklong sleepover camp for children with chronic conditions who are unable to attend other summer camps. Located near Mount Rainier, the camp gives campers the opportunity to explore the outdoors, go fishing, make arts and crafts, and even ride horses. Since 2012, Alpha Delta Phi has had the privilege of supporting Stanley Stamm Camp through the Bubble Bash Guild, a 501(c)(3) organization directly linked to the hospital.
History of the Bubble Bash Auction
Bubble Bash began as a springtime event in UW’s Quad where Alpha Delts and sorority volunteers hosted fun activities––most notably blowing bubbles––while raising money to go back to the camp. In 2016, the event evolved into an auction to focus support from Active Members, their families, and Alumni. This new format proved to be successful, generating over $50,000 before the COVID-19 Pandemic caused philanthropic efforts to come to a screeching halt.
Despite the pandemic, the chapter attempted to maintain engagement with creative solutions, such as a Walk-a-thon in 2021; however, the Built to Last Campaign and safety measures limited widespread support. In 2022, the determination to revive the Bubble Bash Auction was finally realized, leading to a successful event that raised over $50,000 in one night.
We are committed to continuing this incredible tradition and feel grateful for the opportunity to support the fantastic mission of Stanley Stamm Camp.
