Garrett is a live-in senior who is a student in the Earth and Space Sciences Department studying Geology. He intends to pursue a graduate level degree in Environmental/Civil or Geological Engineering. Garrett has served as an officer in University of Washington’s GeoClub, and was the cofounder of the UW Novice Cooking Club. He has been active with local non-profit organizations for the last 5 years such as Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust, Evergreen Mountain bike Alliance, and has completed an internship with Teens in Public Service (TIPS), and the Carlson Learning Program at the Washington Park Arboretum. As house manager, Garrett helped structure the house points system, chores system, built the new front yard patio, worked with local landscape architects/contractors to design the future front yard layout, and many other physical plant projects around the Temple. Through living in as a senior, he hopes to stand as an active leader to foster the success of his brothers, and the Alpha Delta Phi.
