Trick or Suite

October 23, 2011 by Dillon

13 Undergrads participated in Trick or Suite sponsored by the Starlight Foundation on Saturday.  Organized by Eric Tsuchiyama, we set up and decorated three Embassy Suite Rooms in Tukwila after raising money for the foundation this summer. Children who normally would not get the opportunity to trick or treat, came around to our UW themed rooms, played games, loaded their bags with candy, and got a chance to feel like a normal kid.  It was quite an inspiring event, and we’ll for sure be back again next year.Happy Halloween!

Starlight Children’s Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children around the globe with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and life-altering injuries by providing entertainment, education and family activities that help them cope with the pain, fear and isolation of prolonged illness.

  1. Great idea. And while you were there, I hope the undergrads who are 21 were able to avail themselves of Embassy Suites’ awesome “manager’s special” happy hour.
